Litter Pick 2010 : This is planned for Sunday 28th
March. As in past years we
will meet on the Village Green in
Litter Pick 2009 : Thanks to all the volunteers who have been contributing to the spring clean of the village and environs over the past week. Individuals and teams have
been involved in the Litter Pick over the weekend of 4/5th April and have once again collected a large quantity of litter. The village green has now been spruced up and the roadside verges and ditches the length of the single track road from the A1 have been cleared. No ‘exotic’ items this year, which is rather disappointing. The majority of the rubbish was found as usual between the A1 and the village. The litter picking teams on Sunday were rewarded for their efforts with coffee and biscuits on the green, courtesy of a generous villager.Summer BBQ : 4th July was hot and sunny as hoped, the BBQ day was well attended and the children once again enjoyed the use of a large bouncy castle. Thanks to all those who assisted and attended.
Late Summer BBQ : We have planned another village BBQ on the 12th September. The same format applies, please bring along your own food/drinks, the BBQ's will be provided (any fuel would be appreciated)
Kids Halloween : Thanks once again to the generosity of residents, the children of Eshott have had a fantastic haul of sweets and treats for Halloween
Bonfire Night : 7th November on the village green. An outstanding evening was enjoyed by villagers, family and friends, see here
Litter Pick 2008 : The annual litter pick this year was a success with 10+ bin bags of general refuse, a truck tyre and a few surprise items (ask Mr Secker !). Thank you to all who attended...

Kids Halloween : Friday 31st October, the kids visited households around the village as usual. A big "thank you" to all the households we visited, it's a great night for youngsters and parents alike !
